About Us Tuition
Tuition is charged on a yearly basis. Tuition may be paid by the year (with a 3 percent discount) or on a 10-month payment schedule. The first tuition payment is due August 1.

Book & Matriculation Fees
The book fee is a one time charge per year for the workbooks that are consumable and kept by the student, as well as the textbooks and readers that are used by the student but remain with the school (except K4 and K5). The book fee includes the cost of the yearbook.

Sports Fees
Those participating in extra-curricular sports activities will be charged per sport. This fee will be invoiced to the student's account and will be due at the time the sports season begins.

Registration
Current students at Open Door have first option for registering for the 2011-2012 school year. New students may fill any openings that are available after February 1.

10-Month Tuition Plan
The first tuition payment on the 10-month schedule is due August 1 (and is non-refundable) with each succeeding payment due on the first of the month through May 1. If the August payment is not received by August 10, the student will lose their reserve status. If the student withdraws during the school year, they will be charged for August plus each month they attended regardless of the number of days attended in that month. Students enrolling after September 30 pay tuition in advance on a 9-month tuition schedule applicable to months remaining in the school year at the time of enrollment.
Penalties
Any student whose account is not paid in full and up to date on or before the last day of each month will not be allowed to attend Open Door Christian Academy until such time as the account is paid in full. All records will be held until all accounts are paid and up to date.
Discounts
1 - A ministerial discount of 10 percent is offered to qualifying families.
2 - An Open Door Baptist Church tithing membership tuition discount is available to qualifying families.
3 - A 5 percent discount is available to families paying a full year's tuition before August 1.
